On June 25, 2019, the General Meeting of the Port and Management Association of the Caribbean (PMAC) was held in Fort-Lauderdale. CEI.BA, represented by Sabine BAJAZET our Communication and External Affairs Manager, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding to promote BECCA, the electronic freight exchange platform for the Caribbean and Latin America.
We aim to create synergies with our Caribbean partners so that their members can benefit from advantages on the BECCA electronic freight exchange platform. On the other hand, PMAC is committed to promoting the BECCA tool to its members.
This MOU plans various promotional actions which will be taking place all year long.
Moreover, CEI.BA as associate member of PMAC, was selected to be part of a work group on Cybersecurity, Port Community System, Maritime Incubator to enable the emergence of shipping development projects for the Caribbean region.
