CEIBA and members of the Guadeloupe Maritime community attended the 49th CSA’s AGM and Conference in Punta Cana – Dominican Republic from October 7 to 9, 2019.

Digitalization, environmental protection, natural disaster risk management were at the heart of discussion. The Port of Guadeloupe had the opportunity to share its experience and made a presentation about: ‘Climate change, a game changer for Caribbean ports’. Sita NARAYANAN, Environment and Sustainable Development Manager at the Port Authority of Guadeloupe presented the CAYOLI program to the audience. This program develops and implements concrete solutions adapted to the restoration of the coastal island ecosystems of the port of Guadeloupe.
